New Fare Options

 

Two-Hour PassTwo-Hour and Day Passes

Paper transfers and tokens will be replaced with a Two-Hour Pass that allows for unlimited travel for a Two-Hour period. Request the $1 ($0.50 VIP) pass from the coach or van operator before paying your fare. The farebox will issue a green magnetic stripe card (shown above) for use on the next boarding(s). To use the pass on your next boarding, swipe the card through the magnetic stripe reader on the top right of the farebox. Wait for the beep that indicates your fare is paid.

 

Two-Hour Passes can also be purchased in advance from Customer Service or ticket Vending Machines. On first use, these passes must be inserted into the top left side of the farebox for activation and time stamping. For all other boardings simply run the card through the magnetic stripe reader on the top right of the farebox. Wait for the beep that indicates your fare is paid.

 

Day Pass

A Day Pass allows for unlimited travel for one service day. Request the $2.50 pass from the coach or van operator before paying your fare. Each time you board for the remainder of that service day, simply run the card through the magnetic stripe reader. Wait for the beep that indicates your fare is paid.

 

You may also pre-purchase Day Passes at Customer Service or Ticket Vending Machines. On first use, these passes must be inserted into the top left side of the farebox for activation and time stamping. For all other boardings in that service day, simply run the card through the magnetic stripe reader. Wait for the beep that indicates your fare is paid.

 

Time Limit

Each Two-Hour or Day Pass will be printed with a specific expiration time on the back on first use.

 

Smart CardsSmart Card

Smart Cards are chip-embedded and can be used as a monthly pass or a stored value card. Cards are read when touched to the target on the farebox or ticket vending machine. Stored Value Smart Cards work like a gift card. The fare amount is deducted per ride. Smart Cards are more durable than traditional passes and can be re-used and re-loaded indefinitely. Tell Me More.
