Ticket Vending Machines Ticket Vending Machine

Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) provide another way to purchase fares from Spokane Transit. These high-tech and convenient machines sell Two-Hour Passes, Day Passes and reload Smart Cards.

How to use

Step 1: Choose what to purchase.
Step 2: Pay amount given by credit/debit card or cash (Plaza only).
Step 3: Take your pass(es).

Why should I use a TVM?

• Save a trip to The Plaza by reloading a Smart Card Monthly Pass at select park and ride lots.
• Faster to reload a Smart Card Monthly Pass, than to order a regular pass by mail.
• Get to your seat faster.
• No cash? No problem. Use your credit or debit card to pay.
• TVMs give change. Fareboxes don’t. (Cash option only available at The Plaza). Five Mile Park & Ride and Valley Transit Center take only credit or debit cards.

Locations

• The Plaza (first floor)
• Five Mile Park & Ride
• Valley Transit Center

Payment Methods

All TVMs accept Visa and MasterCard. The TVM at The Plaza also accepts $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills as well as dimes, nickels and quarters. The Plaza machine also gives change.

Can I buy a Smart Card at a TVM?

No. Smart Cards must be purchased at Customer Service, but can be reloaded at any TVM.

Two-Hour Passes for VIPs are only $0.50. Can I buy that instead of the $1 pass?

Only VIP card holders can buy these passes, and must show their valid Reduced Fare ID card to the coach or van operator when boarding for each ride.

When will the TVMs be up and running?

Date not yet set.
