Tokens
As of Dec. 4, 2006 Spokane Transit will no longer accept tokens or pennies as a fare.
Starting Oct. 21, 2006 customers may exchange tokens for a Two-Hour Pass at The Plaza Customer Service counter or The Bus Shop Too at 1229 W. Boone Ave. during regular business hours.
Exchange early and save yourself time. Because of additional fare options, new bus passes and the elimination of tokens, we will be very busy in December. Two-Hour Passes cannot be used as a fare until Dec. 4, 2006. If you plan to exchange tokens, please keep enough to get you by until the new Two-Hour Passes can be used in December.
If you have more than 50 tokens to exchange, please call 456-7277 at least one day prior so we can process your exchange quickly. For any other questions, please use the contact information on the reverse.
Tokens can be exchanged until Dec. 1, 2007.
