Sealed bids will be received for the following Project:

SIDEWALK and BUS SHELTER PAD FOR SPRAGUE and HAYFORD ROAD BUS STOP
Project Description: This work shall consist of constructing cement concrete sidewalk and a 12’x24’ concrete bus shelter pad along the south side of Sprague Avenue, in the vicinity of Hayford Road in Airway Heights. The project is described in the Invitation for Bids document together with drawings and specifications provided by J-U-B Engineers. Site inspection is required prior to bid submittal. Work shall be completed by November 25, 2009, weather permitting.

Pre-Bid Meeting A Pre-Bid meeting and site inspection will be held at 10:00 am local time, on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the project site near the Southwest corner of Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road in Airway Heights. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Please note an inspection of the site is required prior to bid submittal.
Sealed Bid Opening: 2:00 pm local time, Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in the STA Sunroom at Owner’s location listed above. Bids will not be accepted after this time/date.
Availability of Bid Documents: Complete sets of Bidding Documents are available from the contact person as listed above.
The project is funded with local and Federal Funds. Prevailing Wage rates shall apply on this project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bid proposals and to waive minor informalities in the bidding process.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid after hour set for opening thereof unless contract award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.

Six (6) sets (one original and five copies) of sealed proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., local time, Wednesday, November 9, 2009, by Spokane Transit, 1230 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201, to provide Vanpool Planning, Mapping and Administration Software and Support in accordance with the specifications and conditions stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.
RFP packages may be obtained from Laurie Hitchcock, Purchasing Department, at the above address, or by calling (509) 226-1979, or electronically at lhitchcock@spokanetransit.com. Proposals shall be submitted to Ms. JacquelineTjards, Purchasing Manager, at the above address and are to be marked: “Proposal for Vanpool Planning, Mapping And Administration Software And Support.”
The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal submission process, to negotiate with any proposers, and to accept proposals which are considered to be in the best interest of STA.
