PUBLIC BID OPENING: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 16, 2012, Spokane Transit Authority (Owner) South Side A Conference Room at 1229 W Boone Avenue, Spokane, WA 99205

PRE-BID WALK-THROUGH: 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the project location, 2nd floor, 701 West Riverside Avenue.
For directions to the site of the pre-bid walk-through, please see drawings or contact the Consultant listed below.
If a bidder is unable to attend the Pre-Bid Walk-Through, arrangements will have to be made for a jobsite visit at least 7 days prior to the bid date. Contact Architect for tour date and time.
Contractors may obtain plans and specifications from the Consultant on or after Tuesday afternoon, January 31, 2012:  Madsen Mitchell Evenson & Conrad, 216 N. Howard, Skywalk Level, Spokane WA 99201, telephone (509) 624-6800, fax (509) 624-6262, upon the refundable deposit of $100.00, and $30.00 non¬refundable shipping deposit, if applicable. Plan sets must be returned in good condition within seven (7) days following bid date to obtain a refund of deposit. After seven days, no refunds will be made.  Please direct questions regarding this project to the office of the Consultant.
Plans and specifications may be viewed at the following plan centers: Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc., Spokane; Associated General Contractors, Spokane; Walla Walla Valley Plan Center, Walla Walla; Spokane Regional Plan Center, Spokane; Tri-City Construction Council, Kennewick.
Use of MWBE contractors and suppliers is encouraged but not mandatory. Bidders may contact the Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise to obtain information on certified firms.
The minimum prevailing wage provisions of Washington state law apply to this project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bid proposals and to waive minor informalities in the bidding process.
No bidder may withdraw his bid after hour set for opening thereof unless contract award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
 

 

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #12-STA-441
TO PROVIDE 
BUS SCHEDULE PRINTING SERVICES

Seven (6) sets (one (1) original and six (6) copies) of sealed proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, January 31, 2012, by Spokane Transit, 1230 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201, for the provision of Bus Schedule Printing Services for a five-year period commencing May 1, 2012. Work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications and conditions stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.

RFP packages may be obtained from Ms. Laurie Hitchcock, Purchasing Department, at the above address, or by calling (509) 226-1979, or electronically at lhitchcock@spokanetransit.com. Proposals shall be submitted to Ms. Hitchcock at the above address and are to be marked: “Proposal for Bus Schedule Printing Services”.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at The Plaza, 701 West Riverside, second floor meeting room, Spokane, Washington. 

The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal submission process, to negotiate with any proposers, and to accept proposals which are considered to be in the best interest of STA.


  


 

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
REPLACEMENT OF INSPECTION PIT LIGHTING

Sealed Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., local time, Wednesday, February 15, 2012, by Spokane Transit, 1230 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201-2686, for removal and replacement of inspection pit lighting in accordance with the conditions stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.

Bid packages may be obtained from Laurie Hitchcock, Purchasing Department, at the above address, or by calling (509) 226-1979, or electronically at lhitchcock@spokanetransit.com.

A pre-bid meeting and facility tour will be held on Monday, January 9 at 10:00 am., local time, at the Spokane Transit Maintenance and Operations Facility at 1229 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, WA 99021.

Bids shall be submitted to Ms. Jacqueline Tjards, Purchasing Manager, at the above address and are to be marked:  “Bid for Replacement of Inspection Pit Lighting”.
