REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #08-STA-371

BOONE AVENUE REFUELING AREA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT


EXTENDED DUE DATE: September 25, 2008

 

Six (6) sets (one original and five copies) of sealed proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, September 25, 2008, by the Spokane Transit Authority (STA), 1230 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201.

 

The project consists of the replacement of existing piping, examination of the containment blanket, and conducting and evaluating soil and fluid samples. The project is located at the Spokane Transit Authority’s (STA) Maintenance and Facilities building, at 1229 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington. Work shall be performed in accordance with the conditions stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.

Proposals shall be submitted to Ms.Tjards at the above address and are to be marked: “RFP# 08-STA-371 - Proposal for Boone Avenue Refueling Area Improvement Project.”

 

A Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Tour will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at the
STA Maintenance Facility, 1229 W. Boone Ave., Spokane, WA. It is highly recommended that all prospective Proposers attend the meeting and site tour. Travel expenses are the responsibility of those who attend.

 

The minimum prevailing wage provisions of state law apply to this project.

 

The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal submission process, to negotiate with any proposers, and to accept proposals which are considered to be in the best interest of STA.
