VAN OPERATOR
Full-time Position
A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required at the time of hire.
Responsibilities include safe and efficient operation of a Paratransit vehicle; transporting the elderly and persons of disability in a courteous, safe and timely manner; properly collecting all authorized fares. Work is Monday – Friday, no evenings/weekends/holidays. Minimum Requirements: Five years motor vehicle operations with no moving violations in the last three years. If selected for a final interview, you must provide a copy of your current driving abstract. A minimum of one year of work experience demonstrating an ability to work with the public in a diplomatic and courteous manner; preference given to working with people with disabilities or the elderly.
Valid driver’s license required; must obtain the required CDL within the training period. Starting wage after training period is $15.21/hr (training wage $12.36/hr).
