Getting around Spokane during the U.S. Figure Skating Championships Jan. 20-28 will be easy thanks to Spokane Transit Authority. Spokane’s public transportation agency has created two dedicated shuttle routes to transport you to every site venue in just minutes.

The Red and Blue Lines will run every ten minutes throughout downtown Spokane for the duration of the Championships. Pick up a map during FanFest. The map will include event schedules, hours of operation, bus stops, local dining, shopping and restaurants.

What is the price?

  • Red/Blue Shuttle Ride Fare: $0.50
  • Regular Fixed Route Service Fare: $1
  • Unlimited Day Pass: $2 (purchased on buses only)
  • An Unlimited 8-Day Event Pass: $10.

The Day and 8-Day Passes are good for unlimited rides on any of Spokane Transit’s 39 routes for the duration of the Championships. To purchase any pass visit the second floor of The Plaza in downtown Spokane (corner of Riverside and Wall).

New to town?

STA routes go to many popular Spokane area destinations. Click here to view a list of routes and estimated travel times for many points of interest. You can also request this flyer at The Plaza. Make your 8-Day pass work for you!

Why using Public Transportation is a benefit to fans:

Transit buses load and unload much faster than charter style buses with wider isles and ADA compliant access. All of the venues and hotels are less than ten minutes apart, so the quicker buses can load the sooner you’re there.

The shuttles are on a published schedule; every ten minutes.

Just missed the bus? It’s just ten minutes until the next one.

During peak shuttle usage Spokane Transit can provide more buses to transport all passengers to their destinations quickly and efficiently.

Paratransit service for out of town visitors

Out of town visitors wishing to use Spokane Transit’s Paratransit Service should contact STA directly at least one week prior to their arrival in Spokane. If you have proof of registration for paratransit service in another city and will be visiting Spokane for only a brief period of time, such as the length of the championships, you are likely eligible to use the service.

To get the process started, please call Karla Gibbons at 509-325-6000 x235 or send her an e-mail at kgibbons@spokanetransit.com (Paratransit calls and e-mails only please)
