Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
Spokane Transit Authority is looking for a well-qualified Customer Service Representative to help us to meet our quality service goals for the expanding needs of our Customer Service department. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as you assist customers with their accounts, respond to public inquiries, provide route and schedule information in person, over the phone, and email. You will handle cash, checks and credit cards as customers purchase fare and other revenue items. STA is looking for an individual with a positive attitude and upbeat personality, to be a valued member of the Customer Service team. Education and Experience
- One year of customer service experience as a Customer Service Representative in a service environment or related field
- Experience as a cashier or in a call center is desirable
- Availability to work any shift including weekends and holidays (Between the hours of 7 AM – 7 PM)
- Ability to exercise patience, empathy, and desire to reach positive outcomes
