Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade

Come see the new, all-electric City Line Buses in the parade!

We’re excited about the long-anticipated return of the Lilac Festival and The Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade! But there are a few things you need to know.

Jefferson Park & RideMay 20, 21, and 22
The Jefferson Park and Ride lot will be closed to public parking in order to accommodate storage of the Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade floats. A temporary bus stop will be available for customers using Rt. 6 at Cedar Street at Fourth Avenue. The lot will reopen to the public at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 22.

The STA Plaza will remain open, but closed to bus traffic starting at 4 p.m. Alternate zones on 2nd, 3rd and Howard will be in use from 4:00 p.m. until the end of service.

Spokane Transit will operate normal Saturday bus service on the day of the parade, with the following changes:
10:35 pm departures on routes 6, 12, 22, 27, 29, 43, 61, and 90 will be delayed 10 minutes until 10:45 pm. Route 29 will continue as a Route 32, 97, and 96 until empty. No other additional service or special departures will be available. Plaza departure times for other routes are staggered. Please consult your bus schedule.
