REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #15-STA-518
TO PROVIDE
ARMORED CAR AND CASH PROCESSING SERVICES

Five (5) sets (one original and four copies), of sealed proposals, plus one (1) electronic version, will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., local time, Wednesday, April 8, 2015, by Spokane Transit Authority, 1230 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201, to provide Armored Car and Cash Processing Services over a 5-year period in accordance with the specifications and conditions stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.

RFP packages may be obtained from Laurie Hitchcock, Purchasing Department, at the above address, or by calling (509) 226-1979, or electronically at lhitchcock@spokanetransit.com

Proposals shall be submitted to Ms. JacquelineTjards, Purchasing Manager, at the above address and are to be marked:  “Proposal for Armored Car & Money Processing Services”.                                                        

The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the proposal submission process, to negotiate with any proposers, and to accept proposals which are considered to be in the best interest of STA.

Use of MWBE contractors and suppliers is encouraged but not mandatory.  Contractors submitting bids may contact the Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise to obtain information on certified firms.

The minimum prevailing wage provisions of Washington state law apply to this project.

The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in the process.

No contractor submitting may withdraw their bids after hour set for opening thereof unless contract award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days.
