The minimum prevailing wage provisions for Washington State apply to this project. 

Use of DBE/MBE/WBE/MWBE contractors and suppliers is encouraged by not mandatory.  Contractors submitting bids may contact the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise to obtain information on certified firms.

The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in the process.

No contractor submitting may withdraw their bids after hour set for opening thereof unless contract award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #15-STA-521
TO PROVIDE UNIFORMS
FOR COACH and VAN OPERATORS,
PARATRANSIT DISPATCHERS,
and
SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL

Six (6) sets (one original and five copies) plus one (1) electronic copy of sealed proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, July 30, 2015, by Spokane Transit Authority, 1230 W. Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201, to provide Uniforms for Coach and Van Operators, Paratransit Dispatchers and Supervisory Personnel for a five-year period commencing October 1, 2015, in accordance with the specifications and conditions stated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package.

A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. local time, at the address listed above.  Prospective proposers are urged to attend.

RFP packages may be obtained from Laurie Hitchcock, Purchasing Department, at the above address, or by calling (509) 226-1979, or electronically by request to lhitchcock@spokanetransit.com.  Proposals shall be submitted to Ms. JacquelineTjards, Purchasing Manager, at the above address and are to be marked:  “Proposal for Uniforms”.
