Paratransit Riders From Out of Town
Paratransit service for out of town visitors
Visitors from out of town, who are certified ADA eligible by another transit provider, or provide necessary documentation of a disability, or self certify that they have a disability that prevents them from using the scheduled fixed-route buses, may use the ADA Paratransit service for up to 21 days in a year.
If you have proof of registration for paratransit service in another city and will be visiting Spokane for only a brief period of time you are likely eligible to use the service.
If you have need for paratransit service in Spokane or more than 21 days a year, you must apply through the regular Spokane Transit eligibility process.
Out of town visitors wishing to use Spokane Transit’s Paratransit Service are requested to contact the Mobility Center prior to their arrival in Spokane.
To get the process started, please call the Eligibility Specialist at 509-325-6052 or send an e-mail to [email protected].
Paratransit Services can also be reached at (509) 328-1552. Customer Service is available 7 days a week, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time.
Spokane Transit provides a Paratransit Rider Handbook with all the information our paratransit passengers need. View the handbook online or request a hard copy from us at 509-328-1552 or by emailing [email protected].
