CONTEST RULES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

By participating in the Double Decker Golden Ticket Hunt presented by Spokane Transit (STA), participants agree to the following official rules and terms:

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals who reside within STA’s Public Transportation Benefit Area (spokanetransit.com/about-sta/public-transportation-benefit-area/)
• Entrants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian's permission to participate.
• Winners aged 17 or younger must be accompanied by an adult (age 18 or older) on the parade ride.
• STA employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

2. How to Enter

• Follow STA’s social media (spokanetransit.com/social) to view weekly clues posted May 12 – June 20, 2025.
• Solve a weekly riddle to locate the correct hidden page on spokanetransit.com.
• Click the embedded Golden Ticket hyperlink and submit the entry form on the provided online form.

3. Winner Selection & Notification

• A maximum of 5 winners per week will be selected at random from the list of correct online form submissions.
• Winners will receive an email confirmation from STA. Please monitor your junk/spam folders.
• Each winner receives two seats (one for themselves and one guest).
• All winners will receive further event details between July 5 and July 11, 2025.
• STA reserves the right to verify participant information and eligibility.

4. Golden Ticket Ride Details

• The exclusive Golden Ticket Ride will take place during the Cheney Rodeo Parade on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Cheney, WA.
• Winners are responsible for their own transportation to and from Cheney, WA.
• Winners and their guests must be available for the full duration of the event, which includes:
  • Pre-parade check-in and bus boarding (time to be provided in winner notification)
  • Participation in the full parade route aboard the bus
  • Post-parade exit and unloading procedures
  • Late arrivals or early departures may forfeit their seat without substitution.
• Golden Tickets are transferable between June 23 and July 3, 2025, with written notice to STA via the contact form provided to winners. However, Golden Tickets may not be transferred to STA employees or their immediate family members, as they are ineligible to participate in the contest.

5. Participation & Conduct

• Winners and their guests must comply with all safety and conduct guidelines provided by STA staff on the day of the event, and STA’s existing Rules of Conduct (spokanetransit.com/rules).
• Winners and their guests must sign a STA Image Release Form before boarding the double-decker bus.
• STA reserves the right to disqualify and remove any participant for inappropriate behavior, misrepresentation, or breach of terms.

6. Social Media Sharing & Promotion

• Winners will be encouraged (but not required) to share their victory on social media, tagging STA social media pages and profiles and using official campaign hashtags.

7. Limitation of Liability

• STA is not responsible for lost entries, technical errors, or any circumstances beyond its control.
• STA may modify or cancel the contest at any time in its sole discretion.

8. Privacy

• Participant information collected through the entry form will be used solely for the administration of the contest and STA communication regarding the Double Decker Golden Ticket Hunt event.
• Unless otherwise required by law, participant information and personal data will not be shared or sold.
