For both riders and non-riders, Susan Millbank, the Spokane Transit Ombudsman and Accessibility Officer, works to remove barriers so people can share ideas and experiences with STA. So, what does that mean to you?Susan Millbank

If you have a question about STA, but don’t know who to ask, call Susan. She works to assure that STA’s practices are understandable, fair and reasonable. If she doesn’t have the answer, she will find it, or connect you with an employee who does.

Maybe you have a complaint, but want to remain anonymous. Susan works independently, impartially, and confidentially. She will respect your wishes.

Do you have an idea for improving STA? Great! Susan compiles and brings forward citizen suggestions for STA. While not every idea can be put into action, Susan can explain how STA made its decision.

The office of STA Ombudsman and Accessibility Officer is just one way Spokane Transit demonstrates its commitment to excellent customer service and open and accountable government.
